Simplicity and Intricacy
Good design brings you peace. In Chinese, the word convenience (便) also means "peace," emphasizing the belief in Eastern culture that crafting products with convenience and care will bring those who use them a peace of mind.
Japanese products, from Daiso sharpeners to knives, has long been adored by others for both its simplicity and intricacy. In my art, UX and design, I incorporate this approach to simplify an abstract user problem and increase ease of use.
